Fresha is software plus a marketplace. Bookr is only the software. That makes it cheaper for some businesses and worse for others. Here is how to tell which one you are.
Fresha charges a commission when a client finds you through the Fresha marketplace. If that client would have found you anyway, through Instagram, word of mouth or walking past, you are paying for an introduction you made yourself.
Bookr has no marketplace. Clients book on your own page at mybookr.app, and there is no commission on any booking. The catch is the other side of the same thing: Bookr will not send you new clients.

No. Bookr has no marketplace or directory. You share your own link, on Instagram, Google, your website or your shop window.
Add your services and hours in the app, then swap the link in your Instagram bio and on Google. Most people have their page up in an afternoon. You can run both side by side for a week while regulars move over.
Not yet. Reminders go by email, 24 hours before and again 2 hours before. Text reminders aren't live, and we would rather say so than let you find out later.
No. Bookr is card-only, and clients pay when they book. If a lot of your clients pay cash at the chair or on the doorstep, Bookr probably isn't the right fit.
